1. Apply to become a [Priest](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Priest) in the [Prontera](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Prontera) Church (prontera 234/314)![prontera.png](https://db.irowiki.org/image/map/normal/prontera.png) by going inside and speaking to Bishop Paul (prt\_church 16/41)![prt\_church.png](https://db.irowiki.org/image/map/normal/prt_church.png).
2. You must visit all three Ascetics from the [Acolyte Job Quest](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Acolyte_Job_Change_Guide). However, this step may be skipped by [Job Level](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Job_Level) 50 [Acolytes](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Acolyte).

The quickest way to visit him is to warp to the convent from the Prontera Church by talking to Priest Praupin in the first room to the right. Father Rubalkabara will be just outside the entrance of Monk Abbey)

They have to be visited in sequence. Otherwise, they will refuse your visit. However, if you manage to find them already, just memo the place and warp back once you've visited the right Ascetic.

1. After returning from the three Ascetics, Bishop Paul grants you access to a room where the next two tests will take place: Exorcism and Temptation.
2. In this room, you must wait for one minute until you can speak to Peter S. Alberto. This is not a bug but instead part of the quest.Note: A [Priest](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Priest) can come along to help for these two tests by following the same instructions and bringing a [Rosary](http://db.irowiki.org/db/item-info/2608/) in their inventory (not equipped).
3. In the next few rooms, kill all the [Zombie](http://db.irowiki.org/db/monster-info/1015/) that appear. All must be killed in each room to clear the Exorcism stage and move onto Temptation. Support Acolytes can [heal](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Heal) bomb the Zombies.
4. Successfully walk past four [NPCs](https://irowiki.org/wiki/NPC) ([Deviruchi](http://db.irowiki.org/db/monster-info/1109/), [Doppleganger](http://db.irowiki.org/db/monster-info/1046/), [Dark Lord](http://db.irowiki.org/db/monster-info/1272/), and finally [Baphomet](http://db.irowiki.org/db/monster-info/1039/)) without accepting their deals. Some may offer bribes or insist Priest life is too difficult to be worthwhile, but choose options that reject their offers. It's possible to select cancel the conversation at the dialogue options skipping some of the dialogue and still progressing.
5. Following this is another series of rooms where [Zombie](http://db.irowiki.org/db/monster-info/1015/) spawn, with [Mummies](http://db.irowiki.org/db/monster-info/1041/) mixed in. It is not necessary to kill them all, simply run by.
6. After exiting the last room, you'll be warped back to Bishop Paul. He suggests speaking with Sister Cecelia on the other side of the room. Employ common sense to answer her questions with holy and righteous responses to pass it.
7. Return to Bishop Paul to become a [Priest](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Priest) after a bit of dialogue. He will reward [Job Level](https://irowiki.org/wiki/Job_Level) 50 Acolytes with a [Bible](http://db.irowiki.org/db/item-info/1551/), while those below Job 50 will receive a [Book](http://db.irowiki.org/db/item-info/1550/).
